The defining question
Before we commission another survey or investigation, what do we already know about this place?
Organisations repeatedly pay to rediscover what they already know about a place. Site Memory is an institutional memory layer for place: a spatial index of surveys, investigations, and site-specific evidence.
01
Show me the place
Search a park, road, parcel, asset, project, or coordinates. The map is the dashboard. Site Memory does not open on a traditional enterprise home screen.
02
Draw the proposed works
Select a polygon or corridor. Check existing knowledge against every stored evidence footprint that intersects the area.
03
Read coverage, age, and provenance
See what was observed, who produced it, when, how, at what stated accuracy, and why it was commissioned. Original files remain attached.
04
A qualified person decides
Site Memory identifies existing evidence. It does not certify that the evidence is adequate for a new purpose.
05
Commission only the gap
If new work is required, the brief can target remaining spatial or information gaps. Record reuse so the organisation can measure value.
Place is the primary organising principle. Projects finish. Place persists.
